Creative Stone has invested in the latest fabrication technology and software systems for every step of your project. It all starts with our quoting and scheduling software. We gather the most accurate measurements for your project with a laser templating system. We’re able to provide digital template layouts so you can see your project before it's fabricated. Once approved, our fabricators use CNC saws and CNC routers and polishers to cut and fabricate your material. Then the stone for your project is finished and detailed and to the highest standards by our master craftsmen.

The people behind Creative Stone
Creative Stone was founded by Dimitri Kellner, who has a mechanical engineering background with a focus on manufacturing. He has applied his knowledge and expertise to every aspect of Creative Stone’s manufacturing and installation processes. Dimitri and our team of highly skilled craftsmen who fabricate and install can create just about anything you envision for your home, office or outdoor space.

Installation
A typical stone fabrication project follows this process…
We start this process with our clients, designers and contractors by setting up an appointment with one of our sales representatives in the showroom. We request rough dimensions or cabinet drawings to understand the scope of your project. In order to gain inspiration and find which stone is right for your project, we will walk with you through our slab gallery to educate and inform you regarding different stone options and which one could be right for your project. Clients also have the option of looking at material housed with one of our many slab distributors.
We then use all this information to create a detailed quote based on the rough dimensions provided and material selected. A template is scheduled once the final material is selected, the quote is approved, and a deposit is provided.
At the template, we will take exact measurements of your project that will be used to complete the fabrication. If there are any changes or variations that occur after templating, a revised quote is sent for approval before fabrication begins. This can be caused by an increase in square footage from the original quote, a different edge selection, a change in material selection, new cut outs or any other detail that would affect the pricing.
Most projects require a template layout where we photograph your selected material and provide a digital layout of how it will look once fabricated. Once approved, fabrication begins, and an installation date is set. If your project contains full backsplash, we may template this after the countertop installation. The full backsplash will then be fabricated and installed at a later date.
