A note about quartzite restoration…

Quartzite is at the center of an unsolvable issue in the stone industry. For unknown reasons, some white and light-colored quartzites will darken at the edges of the countertops. Why this happens or how to prevent it is unknown. There is no way to know if the white or light-colored quartzite that you select will do this, and there is no way to remove the discoloration in the quartzite once it exists.

Any client that chooses quartzite needs to know that this discoloration may occur before or after installation. Creative Stone (or any other fabricator or stone restoration company) will be unable to remove this discoloration.

Quartz Countertop Repair

Quartz and other manufactured stones are hard and durable but can still be damaged. We may be able to repair a small chip on the edge, but we do not offer repair services for the surface of these manufactured stones. In addition, repairs made to the surface of quartz often voids any warranty the distributor offers.

Porcelain Countertop Repair

Porcelain is prized for its elegant durability and low maintenance, but if it does chip, crack, or get scratched it is difficult, and sometimes impossible, to completely repair. In the event of damage, the crack or chip can be filled but will not match the pattern imprinted onto the surface of the porcelain.
